Dani Darbyshire Bio

I am board certified as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am independently licensed and able to provide psychiatric health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic mental health conditions. My primary focus is treating mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and young adults (5 years to 30 years). I provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of symptoms in a wide range of mental health disorders such as: anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavioral disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, and bipolar disorder.

I have experience in treating clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I will work with you or a loved one to develop an individualized treatment plan to improve yours or their mental health.

My first goal is to determine if medication is deemed necessary by reviewing past medical, family, and psychiatric history along with assessing current and past symptomatology. Then I work with each individual and set goals for their treatment plans specific to their needs. This will be obtained with the fewest medications and at the lowest possible doses to target the given symptoms. I strive to provide quality care to every individual.
